Moduline - Uprights and infill components

 

Infill Panel Holders

• Clamp type panel holders in stainless steel can accept opaque or glass panels up to 10mm thick
• For in-line, allow dimension ‘D’ from face of upright to edge of infill panel
• Offset panel holders have diameter ‘D’ (see table)

Upright Fixings

• Pocket fixings require a 60mm dia, 150mm deep pocket in concrete
• Side fixing plate (170 x 60mm) can be spaced at dimension ‘D’ from the structure
• Plate fixing has a 10mm thick base plate of diameter ‘D’ and a 160mm high receiver

Note: The pocket fixing item is an end condition to whatever length of upright is chosen. A cover rose is included where a 2740 070 fixing is specified.

 

Top Rail Support Brackets

• Horizontal and raking versions for in-line brackets
• For horizontal in-line, top rail is 45mm from top of upright
• When offset, centre to centre distance is 53.5mm.

Mid-rail Connectors

• Mid-rail connectors to uprights can be in-line or offset
• Centre to centre offset is dimension ‘D’
• Mid-rails can also have an offset connection to 16mm diameter vertical bars, if required
• Lengths of tube can be joined by 50mm long straight connectors
• Special bends can be bent to suit the stair pitch angle, or to any other angle up to 100 degrees

Mid-rails

• Not suitable for buildings likely to be used by children under 5
• Stainless steel tube is 16mm dia. with 2mm wall thickness
• End cap needed at all open or cut ends

Balustrade Uprights

• 40mm diameter tube with a 3mm thick wall
• 1000mm maximum spacing between uprights
• Available in three lengths to suit fixing method and location
• End cap needed at both ends when side fixed
